El42 Poll

I just was wondering how many people actually have the vibration / flatspot issue with their el42s. I most certainly do, with the "reformulated" ones. :tflamer:

I appreciate your responses.

So which way do you vote if you had EL-42's and they vibrated and flatspotted and you get new tires and they have absolutely no problems ?

"I have tires other than the EL42s and have absolutely no problems. " I believe will work.

what about grip and hydroplaning problems with EL42 old or new- we should track how many people report this besides the flatspotting & vibration

Yeah, for me, though, I bought the car in March, and we have had pretty much perfect weather here, so I have no comments on that.

Gotta love Bay Area weather!

You need an selection that says "I had the new tires and still had problems and got rid of them and my problem is gone". Lacking that I have chosen that I have the new EL42s and have problems, as I did, but they are gone now.

My bad, Didnt want it to get too long and confusing, this is more about determining how many people with the EL42s are actually having problems.

Poorly designed poll. I had the EL42's, had substantial vibration problems, got Michelin PSA/S, no longer have any problems. But the poll results can't reflect that.

No options for me. I have so-called "new" EL42s, and have subtle vibration/no flatspot, but do worry about hydroplaning...

Wouldn't vote.

Maybe there should be tire sell post here. All those that want to unload their EL42s can go to that site and people like me can get them at the cost of S&H + disposal fee. By the way, I wonder if the EL42s are being put on any other new cars and what is the result of those. Anyone know?
