I was considering this too (from a retailer - I wouldn't attempt it myself, but that's just me).

Anyways, there's a really good thread out there on this that you should check out. I'm too lazy to search for it, but it was at the top of the list a few days ago. It discusses the 3M and another brand. People seemed to be pleased with both!

 

install isnt THAT bad...its not rocket science. im actually going to attempt it. videos are out there for our use, why not use them. thanks for the response, ill research them!

 

best of luck if you decide to install yourself...I am having mine done tomorrow morning, and I did tons of research on the product..from what i gathered by countless threads and talking to my guy here that I went through and will be installing it is that with the ones off of EBAY...I would just be very careful. Especially if you are going to install it yourself. Plus man... I figured a 36 thousand dollar car..whats another 600 to protect the complete front you know? Especially since mine is NBP. but again..best of luck.

ebay seller extremetint extremecitytint something like that - they advertise all the 3M pattern cut sets- and you can get deluxe sets with more area like lower bumper and mirrors
When you call in person they can get you 8mm instead of 6, thicker is more protection
Great stuff- saves the paint
Also get extra material and place on trunk lid to protect from cat claws and in front/back of wheels to cut down on rock chips there too- wrap the whole car!
if you can do window tint, use an exacto knife and a hair dryer- you are set

 

well, got mine installed today!! total came to 621.54. I could not be happier with the decision!! yes it did cost some $$$ but to have it done professionaly and the whole front is now protected..i def recommend it to anyone who is thnking about performing the clear bra. Now as I travel, I am not worried at all about bug $%#$ or debri from the road..just my opionion.
