What exactally is a DVD-A, and where can I buy them? None of the stores around this town act like they have ever hear of them, so I guess they don't sell them. I have seen the larger cases but they appear to be just DVD's. Am I right in understanding that you can't play regular DVD's in the TL?

 

DVD-A is DVD Audio. You can buy them in any CD store, they cost a bit more but the good ones come with 5.1 sound. Makes world of difference if your car (like the TL) can support 5.1 sound. And you can't watch DVDs. The DVD nav loader is in the trunk, and won't play movies. The DVD-A discs can go right in the dash.

 

BEST BUY has them....they are audio discs that sound even better than cds

 

The sound improvement from CD to DVD-A is as signifigant as the sound improvement from records to CDs, for an example.
