yeah...I consider it like this...when the planeteers (captain planet) use their rings individually...it is okay, but not great.. but when they let their powers combine to form captain planet, they are almost unbeatable! Just like...Waffle Weave and Micro Fiber combined...it is awesome...to the max..! go PLANET!

The waffle weave microfiber is the way to go. I'm also thinking about picking up a vacnblopro. You can find it here. http://www.properautocare.com/vacnbloporva.html

I've done this for years with 3 black cars, and have never gotten any dirt or scratches from the air. You're way more likely to scratch the paint using towels unless they are absolutely clean. Even the stitching on cotton towels is synthetic, and will cause swirl marks unless you cut it off. Blowing air on a car can't possibly cause scratches...even car washes use air to dry...then they ruin the job by using filthy towels to finish the drying.

I am getting that leaf sucka man, makes sense to me! THANKS

I've been using this all the time. Best way to dry car before even you touch it with MF.

I use this. The trick is one wipe by blade, wipe blade with towel. I carry a cotton towel on my shoulder while using the blade and wipe it dry after every wipe on car.

Glad to see a lot of detailing freaks out there!!! The leaf blower method is excellent and saves a ton of time and is worth looking crazy. Just use the blower for the car only and you don't have to worry about dirt. Like someone mentioned earlier, use 100% cotton towels to dry off the rest and you are virtually assured of no swirlmarks.

Taking care of your car this way assures top notch resale value too. Its a win-win situation later on down the line when you sell or trade in. All my cars that I ever sold always looked new, and I never had anyone haggle me down from my price. In fact, the cars I have sold in the past, the first person to see it bought it.

Hey...who cares what the neighbors think...I still have the shinest car in my neighborhood, and it's a cinch to dry in cold weather without freezing your fingers when you use the leafblower.
