Dropped wrench in engine bay

So I was done successfully changing my EVAP purge valve when I accidentally dropped my 10mm wrench… I heard it clunk around but I couldn’t find it. I tried shaking the car and looking around but there was nothing. I’ve driven around with a lost socket in there but never an ENTIRE WRENCH. Is it safe to drive like this?

it might fall and hit a CV joint on that side but it may h ave just fallen and gotten stuck between the firewall and engine or on the rear engine mount.

So I drove around a bit and didn’t hear/notice anything. Safe to leave it till I do an oil change next week?

I would be more concerned with it falling out on the road and ruining someone else's day. 🤷

Maybe it's stuck on top of the transmission splash guard.

welcome to the oh crap club. You really don't have a choice. Do you own an inspection camera? I had a socket in my oil pan in my truck till the mechanic dropped the pan. Good luck
