Unhappy Dropped Car and the Car Wash

Well, noticed after going through a car wash that there are two scratches on both sides of the front spoiler. I was very upset when I noticed it. It turns out that it clears once it's level but rubs against the track at the beginning because the car is going in somewhat pointed downward.

Acura looked at it and said it can be buffed out. You can't really see it unless you get on your knees and look. I noticed it when I was removing some dirt down there. Will probably let it go until the lease is up.

For those of you that live in apartments and do not have access or time to wash your own car, be careful.

Here's a tip for Apt. dwellers...

Some of the TT guys who live in Apts take a bucket with wash down to the garage and a garden pump sprayer from say Home Depot. Get one that holds 1-2 gallons. Fill that with clean cold water in your apt and carry that down too. More than enough water to wet and rinse off the suds

its rough if you don't have a place to clean the car. 1-2 gallons might not be enough to clean the car off tho.

You can just use a coin-op (manual) car wash and take your own soap, bucket and mitt/sponge to do the wash. If you do this during lean hours, the car-wash owner should not typically mind.

The Tl is a bit larger than a TT but

If you get the biggest garden pump sprayer they have it might be 3-4 gallons which is still manageable and it will certanly be enough to wet and rinse. If not add a trip back up to the apt for a refill. It still beats the carwash with dirty water and towels ruining your baby!
