Anyone know how much a new driver door will cost paited?

Long story short... A some looser MOFO backed into driver door... Body side molding on that door is destroyed, under spoler may be.. and the door itself has deep sharp cuts down it.

I dont think its repairable, and the other problem is I cant go through my insurance, as will be my 3rd claim in a year. Non of which are my fault, but what can one do?

Anyway, I looked online at prices for the parts (I guess without paint?) but am confused...

I seen: 67050-SEP-A90ZZ PANEL, L. FR. DOOR (DOT) $417.46
which in the picture looks like the door, but than I see:

67151-SEP-305ZZ SKIN SET, L. FR. DOOR $169.43

Is the skin something on the inside or is that the actual cover on the outside? I looked at my door but it didnt look like no skin thing?

Anyone got any idea what is what and what I would need? The suck part about the side molding and side skirt is that you cant buy just the one part, you have to get the kit for all 4 doors, unless someone knows something I dont?

If the damage is not that bad, a body shop can remove the damaged portion and just use the skin, but if they can't you will need the whole door.

The prices here are cheaper. For some reason they don't list the entire door in the 2006 listing, so I linked the 2005 list, which is the same.

You will have to add around $400-500 for painting. This is just a guess based on what it costs to get a bumper painted, but maybe the door will be cheaper.

It is hard, or impossible, to find the molding sold separately, but you can find the side pieces here.

The door skin is the outter portion of the door, you can just buy that but the door frame will have to be in good condtion and a body shop will have to weld it on. If you went the route to get a whole new door painted it will be probably close to $4000. Or you can go the bondo route and have them pull the dent out of the door the best they can and have them bondo the rest, my family had this done to my sisters accord by carsmetics and it looks great and was fairly cheap, i just dont like the whole bondo idea. If its possible make the guy pay for it if it wasnt your fault i see this being pretty expensive and not an easy fix!

Well, it wasnt my fault but it happened to my car in a parking lot...

I dont wana do the insurance bit because I am only 21 and this would be my 3rd claim in less than 2 years... (Non are my fault but always counted on my comp coverage...)

The scratches look like they may just hit the frame of the door itself, so maybe I can do just the skin? But I guess the labor and it getting painted will still put me at a new door....

Ugg I dunno. I hate this... Always shi* happen to me, I sware I am a target and this car has been nothing but bad luck, yet I treat it so well and give it all kinds of toys...

Anyway, where could I get just ONE body side molding peice thats from Honda? They only sell the 4 doors for like 170... I wana try to price parts myself and compare to repair shop, if I can get cheaper.
