does recall affect Canadian TL's

I was wondering of the recall on the 04 TL affects the Canadian one as well????
When I asked my dealer about it, they said that they never heard of any recalls involving the TL.

Haven't heard anything yet, but since it has affected earlier models sold in Canada, I would assume that this will hit Cnada as well.

Yes, the early ones. My dealer fixed my transmission in 1 hour three weeks before I got the recall letter. If you have a recent build you aren't affected.

well my VIN is XXXXXXXXXXX801752 .......is that considered one of the earlier models?
and hey Jss1 ... which dealer in Toronto do u go to?
