So everything on my 3rd GEN TL is basically stock. I had my mid muffler and resinator removed with a straight pipe (not sure exactly if thats what its called, but they were 2 muffler looking things within a foot of eachother that was removed from my stock exhaust system). My question is will my 3rd gen TL pass emissions in the state of Nevada?

Hope this will stay in this section since MOST people do this only to the 3rd Gen TL.

I believe you have a stage 4 exhaust since you have full straight pipes. You will pass emissions since you didn't touch the cats. Muffler and resonator is all sound and has nothing to do with emissions.

IF you remove the 3rd cat, a visual inspection during emisison testing might catch you out. But a sniffer and/or OBD-II scan would never know.
