Ive been going to junk yards lately trying to bring life back into my 98 M3 and I see TL's here and there. If anyone needs anything thats not too time consuming to pull let me know. ill be looking for a cup holder and a rear back seat for my own TL since my lid snapped. I dont mind making a few extra bucks while keeping your TLs looking fresh. reply what part and color you want and ill keep an eye out for it. If looks are really important like a seat or a door panel then DM your number so i can txt you pics before I pull a part.
I havnt seen this idea but maybe between some other members we can have a junk yard scout exchange thread where we list things we'd like updated as our 3Gs are getting older, more worn, and more available at junk yards. We can hook each other up with prices between what the yards sell them for and what they are going for on ebay. For example, a pair of head rests in on ebay right now for a 120 dollars right now (2008 ACURA TL LEFT AND RIGHT REAR BLACK LEATHER HEADREST ONLY | eBay) this costs 12.28 plus tax at lkq. so 50 dollars would be reasonable.
basically, a simple list of what people need in a thread that we can open and browse through while some of us are at the yard would be nice, a wishlist if you may.
