Does anyone know how to replace fog light bulbs in a 3G TL?

I posted this in car talk, but not much traffic there and no reply. Basically my fog light bulbs in my 05 TL burned out, but I don't know how to get the old ones out so I can get the new ones in.

They are actually not difficult at all. the driver side is a bit more harder to access. But their is a a DIY in the 3G Garage you would have luck lookin in there.

thanks! yeah I can easily get to the bulb on the passenger's side, but I just couldn't figure out how to get it out other than disconnecting the plug. The driver's side definitely seems like a PITA, I can't even get my hand in there to reach the plug.

I'll check out the 3G garage though. thanks again!

You know, that's funny.
My driver's side was very easy to take out.. but my passenger side was harder! I found it more cramped... and for some reason it was a lot more tight [the bulb socket] than the driver's side.
But anyway, once you locate the plug/bulb you just have to use brute force and rotate it. If you find it's not budging, try going the other direction... and rotating it back normally, I find it helps loosen it up a bit. Remember lefty loosy--righty tighty.

Once the bulb comes out of the socket, you'll notice a blue plug thing.. Just push down real hard on the center clip and pull the bulb apart. Just be careful...
Hope that helps!

There are also instructions in the Owners Manual (at least for '07/'08 fogs).

If you don't have an Owners Manual, you can check here:

finally done!

Took me two days to get the existing fog light out on the passenger side but once I got that out, the driver side took about 20 seconds; much easier than I expected after I took the CAI tube out.
