Does 05 TL come standard with wheel lock?

I just purchased a 05 TL from a dealer in the past month, but it comes with wheel lock installed on it, but i can't find the key in the glove compartment. I am just curious does the Acura comes standard with key locks. So they forced you to go back to the dealer for every service visit? thanks.

No, the car does not come standard with wheel locks. It's an accessory. However, if you bought the car from an Acura dealer, they should have the key to go along with it. I think the locks were like $40 w/ the key.

@vicdeng, also check the trunk. Dealers will often zip-tie the key to the wrench or just place it in the spare tire caddy.

they are not a standard item-did you look in the trunk. If you can not find it go back to the dealer and ask for a replacement. They have their own keys they use. When I bought a 05 civic-it had wheel locks on it. When I could not find the key, the dealer replaced the locks with new ones so I then had a key.

^^

There are 5 or 6 different keys. The Dealer probably has a "Master set".

Your lock set should have a key with it (the set comes with a key).

If your key is not in the glove box, tool kit or any of the cubby storage areas, the dealer should provide a new key or a new lock set.
