do you have to bed in new pads?

im putting new ceramic pads on rotors that have 40k miles on them. they are not getting resurfaced bc they are cross drilled and slotted. do I have to bed these pads in or just drive normally?

when I bought the rotors and new pads I remember bedding them. should it be done now? thanks

Yes.

If I were you, I would do some research on the web to get a collection of opinions and writeups from qualified information sources. I say this because you could always come across a better (or different) approach.
