Do interior LEDs have dimming effect like stock bulbs do?

I'm planning to replace my interior lighting with LEDs but one thing I need to know is whether you keep the dimming effect stock bulbs have when you close the door or not.
I really like the dimming light effect. Looks fancy but not sure if I would give it up for LED interior lighting.
Need help from the experts!!

they do dim, but if you start the car while the lights are dimming, they will flicker.

Just FYI, to prolong longer life of LED's and HID's. Try to always have your LED's off when you start the car. Also when you start your car, always try to have your HID's off until its running. Also When you turn off your car, turn off your HID's first.
With LED's on or HID's on when cranking the car, it produces voltage spike which i believe is the reason why the LED's flicker ALSO when you turn off the car with the HID's on (which is the delay off and on feature) it makes a significant drop in voltage.

There is a dim with the LEDs but not as noticeable as incandescents.

RC51Ryder is correct that it will dim but the transition is not as long as stock bulbs. I like it though and glad I made the switch.

That is Acura's problem, if anything goes wrong with it, it is covered because it is OEM. I leave them on Auto all the time. If the bulb burns out, it will be an excuse to get new ones

Do you or anyone else have any insight on this? I understand what you are trying to say, but I don't understand the adverse effects of leaving the HIDs/LEDs on

The dimming affect is not from what bulbs you have. The dimming affect is controlled by resistors in a module. Can you imagine intermitten wipers for a second? You can set them to a certain speed...that's what the lights do when they dim. Resistors restrict current flow, thus reducing light output. It's all in your electronics; nothing about the bulb itself. Just an FYI. My LEDs dim just fine.

Hey Playa4real, read the post by Gerzand to get a brief more understanding about the voltage spike/drop in this thread. https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/question-umniza-angel-eye-ballast-itself-702282/

I just installed 6 Blue LED's inside and they are sweet. I am adding a front floor kit with 2 Blue LED's on each side. Then I am taking the door off behind the rear armrest, turning my Diamond 12" sub facing forward, and mounting 2 Blue LED's above the Sub.
