DIY side marker blinker

I found this thread while doing research on how to make my existing side markers blink, I tried it and its super easy and works perfect. I thought I should share this with fellow acuraziners who just want to make their side marker blink without buying any relays or diodes.

Here's the link.

Nice thread but I'm looking to simply change the blinker bulb as mines must have went out. Do u know how to simply remove the stock one on the pass side or possibly guide me to a DIY thread. I can't find one myself smh

There is no bulb to replace, it is L.E.D. Inside and you have to replace the whole unit. You have to take out the clips that hold your plastic fender liner in place and then you can pull that back and get your arm behind the fender and pop out the unit. My passenger side went out as well and it costed me $97 from the stealership. I would recommend eBay if you want to go a cheaper route.

Does it blink in sync with the signals in the headlight?

Looks to be just like splicing resistors in for switchbacks. Have you done his on the rear side markers?
