Go to setup. Say "Display off", or touch the display off icon.

Put the screan in night mode. Shouldn't be too bright after that either. You can also leave the screan off by not pressing "ok" when you turn on your car. Hope that helps a little.

You max also have "Max" selected on the instrument cluster. (where the +/- buttons are to adjust your instrument panel brightness)

This puts EVERYTHING to max brighness (Including the NAV display...takes it out of night mode )

Step one.............speak, "Display Setup"
Nav responds.................."what do you want to setup?"
You now get even with it and say ......."display off"

Poof.....it vanishes faster than the nose shake on Bewitched!

i just press the "audio" button. I mostly use the touch screen to control the radio, I figure since 99% of my driving is to work & back I don't need the map anymore. :-)

(however, it is that other 1% when nav kicks ass.)

Speaking of that... what is the voice command to pull up the audio menu from the map screen? I can't find it for the life of me.

Lore is right. You cannot call up the audio screen with voice command.
