Does anyone know what the discount code is for Acura of Peoria? I ordered parts recently and talked to Tim and he gave me 50% off ground shipping, does anyone know what the actual code is?

Thanks, I just wanted to see if anyone knew before I put in a order for the 3rd and 4th pressure switches. I'll email him and if there is one I'll report it back here.

Just ordered some parts with Tim's assistance at http://www.oemacuraparts.com/ and was able to use swoosh as the discount code. You might want to call and speak to him directly because there might be an issue with their online system.

Agree with just calling or sending an e-mail. There was a recent thread about this - 'Best place to buy OEM parts' or similar. Acura of Peoria codes were "galaga" and "spyhunter"

Please post the prices because I need the switches and other things [coolant, washers, o-rings, new transmission (jk)].

 

So after messaging Tim, the discount code is SWOOSH for half off ground shipping for orders above $100. My order was 80 something so that's why it didn't work. The price for the 3rd and 4th gear switches are 37 each assuming you have a 04-06 don't know about 07-08. Then the o-ring was 2.02 I believe? Hopefully my shocks and motor mount come in tomorrow!

 

Thanks. That's about the same as Bernardi and Delray. What did you pay for shipping, because mine will be about the same - it has to be less than Bernardi (Boston) and Delray (Florida). Was there a dumb handling fee? Now I have to research motor mounts and compliance bushings, blargh.

 

Shipping for both front shocks and motor mount was $50, but then $25 after the discount. I want to say Acura of Peoria is slightly cheaper than the rest. I'm just hoping this weather keeps getting warmer so I can install these parts over a weekend. No more snow or negative weather please

 

Parts arrived today! Now just waiting on my pressure switches.

 

Thanks. Wish that there was an online parts store in the Midwest. Ditto on the weather. I managed to squeeze in a 3x3 last weekend and will do a final 1x3 this weekend, but it's a lot more pleasant with my garage door open on a warm afternoon with the sun streaming in :icon for toasty:

 

^If I need parts immediately, I'll bring the Acura of Peoria or Delray Acura prices to my local dealership (McGrath). They don't match it all the way, but get really close. I've become friends with the parts guy and he's really nice so I don't mind making him a bit of commission by paying a little bit more and having my parts right away (or early the next day). Otherwise I support the vendors on this site!

 

Yea this weather is crazy. Doesn't help that its season tax so I'm super busy. But this is something that needs to be done soon as I want this car to last for awhile.

Ditto on the switches and I'm going to order mine soon. I had to change the fluid after my first and only shudder last month. Thankfully it hasn't happened again.

 

To be honest I would just order from acura of Peoria my switches are coming in today and I ordered them on the 11th. They ship them usps 2 day priority but it took 2 days to actually ship it. I'm sure it's probably cheaper too.
