Tried to do a search on the forum regarding this issue but I think there's a problem right now with the function....

Just wondering if anyone is experiencing rough idling (NOT when cold as I recall reading threads that its due to the emission controls) even when the engine is warmed up. I have about 800 miles on it and lately it seems to have a slighly more noticable vibration when idling. I can feel it through the steering wheel and the seats. Is it just me feeling more acquainted with the car, is anyone feeling the slight vibration or is it not normal and I should have it checked out.

I have the same thing. I initially thought it was cold idling, but since the weather has warmed up, the rough idle is still there no matter how long I've been driving.

It only seems to idle rough when in drive with brakes applied (i.e. stopped at a light). If you put it in park or neutral, it idles smooth. Vibrations are bad at times. It seems to come and go.

Took it to the dealer and they claim it is within specs.

BTW...I have auto too.

 

I too, experienced what I considered to be intermittent rough vibration. The engine seemed to misfire or hiccup at various times. Took the vehicle back to the dealer for service. The service advisor told me there was a service update for this problem. The fix involved updating the system computer with a new software version. If I'm not mistaken it was upgraded from version 840 to version 850. I dont experience the misfire or hiccup anymore, although I think sometimes the car idles roughly at times. I'm starting to believe that reading too many of these threads causes one to be overly critical of anything that may be wrong. I honestly think I'm concentrating on too many negatives instead of all the positive attributes of this vehicle.
