It is true the 07-08 TL base front lip spoiler is different from the TypeS spoiler? Honestly, the front lip spoiler for the TypeS is I always like the aspec spoiler for the 04 - 06TL. If they are different, does the base TL lip fit on the TypeS? I am talking about the 07-08 TL lip, I know the 04-06 lip doesn't fit.

 

They are different, but IMHO, it's a sublte/slight difference. I don't know if they are inter-changable.

I agree, the '04 - '06 A-Spec front is the best of the bunch.

 

they are not interchangable, if you look at the direction of the outside part of the fog lights they are facing a different direction. I have always asked the question if it would be possible to shave off or cut the mask part off of the TLS front lip instead of doing a complete bumper swap.

 

I wonder what all it would take to do said bumper swap.

Here are some questions.

1) Are the 04-06 base tl and tl type s aspec lips the same part #?

2) Are the 07-08 base tl using the same lip as the 04-06 tl's or are they different due to the fog lights?

3) Is it true that If I wanted to do said bumper swap I would have to change the chrome trim on my hood and the middle of my grill? I ask because I heard that on the 07-08 type-s they use a b chrome and on the base tl its a satin finish?
