Aside from the looks, are there any differences in dimensions between the three rear bumper lips available to the tl?? The reason I ask is because I am looking to upgrade the exhaust tips on my base tl and was looking to go to something similar to the ATLP quad exhaust tip look and was wondering what issues I may run into with the exhaust cut outs and whether it would be necessary to upgrade the rear bumper lip as well.

As always any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

 

First....search. This has been covered a thousand times.

The type-s fits on a 04-06 bumper but you have to cut the bumper for the exhaust cutouts and the mesh area.

No issues otherwise for the rear.

 

you really just need a type-s rear aspec lip and you can put that on your base bumper.

the cuts you make for the quad tips will be hidden/covered up by the type-s rear lip.

Sorry fellas I guess I should have been more informative - the last quote was helpful but still not enough for what I am wanting. What I am looking for is the dimensions of the exhaust cutouts. I saw the type-s is 8" and the Aspec is 6.5" so I can use that and measure my base to see ... Thanks for the help though

 

I'm not sure why you would have to measure anything unless you have a custom exhaust.
