I just purchased a 2006 Base TL. The previous owner must have had pets because of many small tears and scratches in the seat.

I have been searching on Ebay for used seats.

Did Acura TL have the same style and pattern on all their seats from 2004 through 2008 base models?

Is it possible to put a 2009 and later seat in the car also.

I don't know the answer to your question, but if you can find some Type S seats, snap them up. I've sat in both and I love my Type S seats. They're much more supportive.

 

2004 only had 2 patches on the bottom, i think 05-08 base tl has 3 patches, and type S has 4. I think its to prevent butt marks from forming.

Try to get 05 + seats. There should be zero issues swapping out different model year seats.

Have you looked in our Black Market? They pop up from time to time. Try craigslist as well as local salvage yards as well.
