Difference between MT & At motors?

Hey everyone!!! I am wondering about any difference between the 2007 TL-S 6MT, and the AT motors? I have a MT, and I have some friends who swear there is a "performance" difference between the two? Sorry for such a noob question, but I am also trying to prove them a point about the Acura community!!!

LOL
THANKS!

Motor is the same, performance figure is the same. However the MT enjoy better gearing ratios and being lighter than auto gear box give an advantage to MT.

Both cars are stock and rated 286 HP from the factory.

Stock TL-S Auto dyno 230 WHP
Stock TL-S Manual dyno 250 WHP

Does the flywheel vs flex plate count?

That's about it, both are J35A8 engines
