Difference between 5050 vs 3535 vs 2538 vs 5630 LEDs?

Can you guys explain the difference between all of these different kinds of LED?

Like which one is the brightest?

The newest?

They are LED chip sizes.

5050 -5mm x 5mm
3528 - 3.5mm x 2.8mm

Speaking in terms of a single LED chip,

5050 is brighter than 3528. 5630 is brighter than 5050.

there are also many other kinds of LEDs. Asking which one is brighter isn't too useful because a lot of times, LED boards have so many diodes on it that a less-bright LED can outshine a brighter LED because there are a lot more.
