I got 07 TL-S in October. How do i find out if it's ASPEC or not?

 

I plan on getting it tinted this week. I'm looking to go 15% all around since 30/35% seems too light. Especially since my interior is a light color as well.

 

It should have A spec lips on front bumper and rear bumper. Also should have lowered suspension.

 

My front Bumber has upside down U shape and it is about an inch lower then friends 08 TL. I though that it was because it is type-s.

So that means i got at 07 TL Type-S A-Spec

I bought a 2007 white diamond pearl TL type s with 25k for $24k from Virginia (i live in massachusetts) on 5/7/10. Swapped out 4300k bulbs for 8000k bulbs, and 8000k conversion kit in the fogs and daytime running lights. White license plate LED to match. Getting 35% tint all around next week

 

Bought a 2007 Type-S in CBP w/ Ebony/Silver Interior and 29K miles Wednesday at 9:00pm. I pick it up tomorrow and can't wait. Sale price was $25,795 certified.

How many of you bought the extended warranty to put the bumper to bumper at 7 years/100K miles?

 

Would some dealer use gray and carbon-bronze-pearl synonymously? I just came to terms for a 2008 TL Type S CBP for $22K...it has 55K miles on it. It's not certified...I'm not getting it from an Acura dealership. Is it worth getting the extended warranty? If so, where would some potential good deals be?

 

I bought my 07 TL-S with 50K miles certified at an acura dealership and took it back to the dealership twice for some common, yet pricey repairs on our TL-S'. I'd look into the acura care 120K mile warranty.

 

What are some of the "common, yet pricey" repairs I should expect. I appreciate all the information and advice available on this forum.

35% all around is perfect for where I live. The sun down there is a bit stronger so definitely go darker for functionality. 15% all around for you should be great.

I agree..I'd like to know myself. I've been reading about the engine knocking and that's got me worried a little bit.I just bought a Moroccan Red 07 Type S Monday with 57k miles for $21k and I'm pretty satisfied, seeing as I traded from an 04 TSX. And yet another VA purchase..where did you get y'alls from? The lot had at least 8 Type-S when I was last there.

hi guys i am new here and i just bought my TL type S yesterday 07 blue

 

I got it since I am planning on keeping for at least 5 years. The extended warranty would at least get me another 4 years.

Got it tinted last week. I went with 35% in the front and 20% in the rear. I would of went with 20% all around, but the guy said the limit in Texas is 35% for the front and that I may get a hard time getting the inspection done. Not sure how true that is, because I see so may cars with what looks like 15% or darker in the front. Anyways, I dont notice much of a difference between the two shades once they were installed. I will post some pics when I get a chance here in a week or two.

I got mine June '09, CBP as well, perfect color as stated earlier, CPO with 26k miles for $28k.

 

Picking mine up tomorrow. 2007 Type S CBP for 16,500 w/76,300 miles. Got an extended warranty for 1,534 3yr/36K.

Total $18,034

Car runs like a dream, but I will probably have to put some $ into it to get every perfect....its all I could afford for a Type S. Either this or wait a long time before I could get inside this car.

I was looking for a 6spd and they were pretty scarce in TX around the time I was looking. Only two that I know of became available in the DFW area within a month and they were sold quick. I got mine from VA

2007 Type S, Certified, 19,800 miles for $26k OTD. Bought it in Feb..... Wrecked it on April 26th. 15k in damage, sucks bad but I get it back on 6/2 .

Got my 2007 ASM TL-S with 15k miles...literally brand new condition from a private seller. Paid 25k + Tax. A tad bit higher than what I was expecting to pay but the condition of the vehicle is an absolute 10. I'm a longterm keeper so it's worth it.

I just bought a 2007 CBP TL-S yesterday for 24k with 40k miles on it (Certified). I live in Irvine, CA area. Another Infiniti dealership actually had a car with less miles on it for about the same price, but the 4.9% APR killed the deal.

I LOVE THE TL-S.

 

Just traded my 06 TL Black, chrome 18" wheels, 6sp MT, nav, 60k miles, (and was paid for) for a certified 08 TL type S 6sp MT, nav, same chrome Acura wheels (not what came with car but way better) and 14K miles...difference in price i paid $15k for the car way happy.

 

and PS i live in WA state and got 2.49% apr for 36 months certified rocks!

 

I just bought a 07 KBP TL-S with 79k km or 49k miles. It was purchased at a private dealership so no CPO. The car is amazing though!
