I was bored, and i still had some subscription left to my 2 week car fax account (i helped the gf buy a new car last week).... so i ran my 06 TL's VIN #

Apparantly, the car was repaired and sold for personal use in Quebec, Canada.... When purchased, it had 25,418 miles OR 40,907 kM

Anybody on here have it? i know its a long shot... but i was just wondering..

that car got hit once REALLY hard, then hit twice moderately... and then totalled into a wall.... then i took off my custom parts, and left that thing in shambles... i didnt think it would be repaired/resold.......

that poor car... it was hit SOO many times, it was bondo'ed and repainted in 3 different places BEFORE it was totalled (Back, Drivers Side Doors & Front). The first rear-ending was a $9k estimate... then $2,000 to fix both doors, and a couple hundred to repaint the front bumper and replace the grill

then it got totalled, with an insurance repair estimate of $27,000 the damn engine block was cracked!!!! i am truely suprised that was fixed....

id have to say....im pretty sure someone got it for parts.....the insurance company wouldnt sell it to let someone get hurt in....prob it was cheaper to do that than get the parts they really needed for it from the dealer.

most likely it was auctioned by insurance company to recoupe some money. whoever bought it probably got it for around 3500(at the max, probably alot less since the engine was cracked). they will rebuild it and sell it for 12k and make an ok profit. my friend does it.

um... navi radio, and all the interior parts (minus the airbags)... taillights...and 2 passenger side doors

the rear end , was never fixed properly from my first accident (the body shop hammered out the body pan, put sound deadening material in there, GLUED the bumper support back together, didnt paint it right.. there was bondo cracking all over the trunk and both rear QPs....

everything else was f*ed

when i stripped it, to take all my mod's off... i didnt even put everything back right... i put the shocks/springs in with out the top hats or the front hook thing (camber adjuster??)... i threw the OEM calipers and in the trunk too and never put the OEM pulley back in... i never put the stock RSB back either

i left all three OEM cats in the trunk.... the block was cracked, the tranny pan was leaking...the battery exploded... windsheild busted...the oem exhaust tips were smashed from the tow truck pulling the wreck out....

1st accident_ car was 3 weeks old.. i was stopped at a red light, 70 year old woman rear ended me... then a 20 year ditzy chick, rear ended her, and the old womans hyundia flew into me again

2nd time.. hit and run.... somebody backed into my front bumper

3rd time... a client of mines wife backed into both drivers side doors while i was parked.. they paid cash to fix it... good people, honest mistake

4th time.... partly my fault... car had major hydraulic brake system issues, i chose to upgrade to a Rotora BBK without fixing the under lying issues... the brakes were only 36 hours old, when i decided to take a turn just a LITTLE too fast, i pressed the brakes... they locked up in an INSTANT... that was when the car went head on into a cement divider.... totalled

i hope your tl-s is in prestine condition! from what im reading seems like your first tl was cursed...

yup.. i only have ONE TEENY TINY ding.... and that was my dumb ass putting groceries in the trunk... my WDP now was 28k... and its M-I-N-T.... the blackura had 25k on it.. and it was beyond cursed...

oh .. and the wifey curbed one of my type-s wheels... only 1" long, but deep....

That sucks Allon! I actually curbed one of my own wheels when I was bringing my dog to the emergency vet. It is about 2" long not deep though, sure does annoy the $hit outof me though. They want $100 to fix it. I will be forced to live with it for a while. I am still waiting on those sound clips of your car with full ATLP and RV6 precats!!
