Desert Mist Metallic

My 04 is DMM and I have yet to see another one on the road. Am I the only one who likes the DMM/Parchment combo?

I have one and love it. I have only seen one other in years, lots of the common colours though, like the last poster. ha ha ha.

Soooooo easy to keep clean and looks great all the time.

I've had DM for 2 years and love it. Only seen one, but lots of common colours.

It's so easy to keep clean and looks great with black windows, mud guards and mats etc.

I'm more impressed with zero problems so far which seems to be common with DM cars, unlike some of the troublesome colours you read about here.

I see only one or two in the Columbus, OH area. My TL is in for service and I have a DMM/Parchment loaner. The interior is dirty and the light color shows everything. I'm thinking that the TL is a sporty-type car and that DMM is not really a sporty-type exterior color. Sorry to say it would not be my 1st choice for a TL -- maybe for a Lexus ES330 or Camry (like my mom has...).

not many bought this color according to AZ's poll https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/bought-fender-74135/

If I'm the only one under 30 with DMM I guess that makes me either special or stupid. My previous car was an 01 CL NBP/Ebony and I wanted something different.

DMM is one of the prettiest colors Acura makes. Look at it close up in the sun, and you'll be dazzled by the metalflake. It's a gorgeous color.

For some reason, too many people seem to think a "sporty" car has to be black or dark grey or something. So what is it about the color that makes a car fast, or good-handling, or fun to drive (or for old people)? Car color is a personal thing, and I've always liked golds myself. Not to mention that DMM always looks good, even with a coat of dirt on it, and that's a helluva lot more than you can say for black, which looks like caca 5 minutes after you wash it. Yep, there's a DMM TL in my neighborhood, and I turn and look everytime it goes by.

But to each his/her own, I guess.

I think most of you know my opinion on my DMM...I love it. Yes, it's very rare, but the color looks great days after washing. I also have the parch interior and it can be a bitch to keep clean..but I have no kids, so it's not that hard. I live about 4 miles from another DMM..

Just like someone said, it is all about personal preference. Here is another example. You might think that you are a handsome smart kid who has a good life. Others might think that you are an ugly dumb old fart who has a miserable life-all about personal preference!

Old fart.

I personally love the DMM colour on the TL. As another poster mentioned, when you see it in the sun, it is stunning. The metallic flakes are incredible. One of the reasons I didn't choose that colour is that my last TL was gold and I didn't want the same colour twice in a row. For 2005 Acura Canada is not offering the TL in DMM so up here it is a really really rare colour to see.
