how much $ are you guys expecting the 2007 Tl-Type S to depreciate by once the 09 TL is on sale?

Ive not even seen the 09 TL yet... doubt they will change it from the current model. Every year after the 1st yr. TL looses $2000 based on how u maintain it. If selling within the first yr. its heavier.

The 2009 TL is a complete redesign with greatly enhanced features, horsepower, etc.

I expect that it'll take a big bite out of 3G TL equity but not necesarilly out of the Type-S models unless Acura releases a Type-S in `09 right away. But I wouldn't expect that right out of the gate either.

My guess it will depend on wht the price the 09 TL at. Also whether or not SH-AWD is standard or not and so on. When the 3G TL came out the price went up about $2k-$3K so it may keep resale a little higher for a while as some may take a look at 3G over 4G. Also if they blow it one styling it may help3G retain value. My guess is 4G will have HD based navi/music server and will offer SH-AWD either standard or maybe as the Type-S. Probablly gonna see 3.5 in base TL and 3.7 in Type-S. Hopefully the 400+ watt ELS fomr the MDX as well. My concern is since the 08 Accord is the basis for the 4G TL I am concenred that the car is getting too big. The Type-S handles awesome not, keep adding size and weight and it gets harder to make it such the great balanced package it is today!

the new accords are hella tiny compared to 3G! The new accords look like a hat! And why the hell would they make the 4G standard AWD! Thats highly unlikely!
