Dent Repair Question/Bad luck.......

Well, I've had my '06 TL Navi a whole week now and already have a big dent in the roof rail on the passenger side and a scratch on the front bumper. Both instances happened while I was parked and since they're on the passenger side I'm not sure when. The car is garaged and has hardly been out so I'm obviously sick to my stomach at this point. I have no idea if the dent was intentional or how it happened.

I got a quote on the roof rail/A-pillar dent of $750, which includes repainting and blending back to the quarter panels. To just fix the bumper I was quoted $550 which seems pretty ridiculous. I planned on an underbody spoiler anyway so I'm not too concerned about the bumper.

I have an appointmant tomorrow with a paintless dent repair place but I'm guessing due to the location/depth of the damage it won't be eligible. Any thoughts? Pics are below......hope they worked, my first post.

your front bumper cover scratch should be covered by the body kit you plan on installing, as far as your dent, $750.00 seems excessive, a good paintless dent repair tech can improve the damaged area but it will probably not be completely fixed. Access to the area is very limited. good luck.

I got a quote of $150 today from an experienced paintless dent repair technician. The only benefit to the dent area is that the side curtain airbag won't be in the way. He'll drill a 1/4" hole up underneath and he says he can get it close to new--anything will be better than how it looks now.

I'm getting it done this weekend so I'll post some pics if it comes out decent.

I know its too late for your situation however I'm responding for others who have the same problem. A paintless repair doesn't work on the roof rails since the metal is so thick that it doesn't pop out like other body work. Your garage caused this dent by the attendants jumping through the windows while parking the cars. Do you live in New York? I live in New York and there are many TL's with the same problem. $750 sounds about right for a proper repair.
