Decklid spoiler for Canadians
So, I had many issues trying to get a decklid spoiler for my TL: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=166238
For people who read that thread, a replacement for the damaged one did arrive, but the replacement was again damaged. I requested for a refund and got one promptly. So a big for carparts-123's business ethics although I wasn't able to get my spoiler from them.
Then I checked out hondacuraworld as suggested and the price is $310. I guess once I get that thing shipped to Vancouver, BC plus all the duty fees, the total will be well above $450 uninstalled, so I hadn't pulled the trigger to buy.
Yesterday, I was on Acura Canada's website and saw this: http://www.acura.ca/assets/pdf/en/an...ry_Package.pdf
Apparently, they're doing this 20th anniversary promotion, so after checking with the local dealer today, the decklid spoiler will be $400 installed!
I just want to pass on this information to Canadians who are looking for a decklid spoiler and share my experience with them.
AVOID EBAY SPOILERS! The colours won't match, and most of them are somehow damaged when you receive them. Get a oem one and this 20th anniversary promotion seems like a pretty good deal!
