We have an 07 type-S with the lip spoiler that is actually coming apart from the car and since it will be getting fixed {Warranty} can I swap it for the the wing spoiler? Acura said no its completly different set up, was wondering if anybody has done it. I have learned u cant usually believe what the dealer is telling.

Sure you *could* do it. But the lip spoiler is attached to the trunk with screws and/or clips - something like 7 holes to fill and paint.

The wing will have different attachment points. Also, you'd probably want to change out the trunk springs to the heavier duty version - but those're fairly cheap, IIRC.

The wing comes as a kit, with springs, but Bear is right... You'd have 7 holes to fill in and paint.
