Thanks to a lot of assistance from this forum, I have finally made the decision to buy a 2005 TL 6MT Nav in blue W/camel. This wasn't easy. The '05 Infiniti G35 6MT is an awesome competitor w/ RWD and 298 hp. The TL's backseat room, interior quality, Nav system, and slightly lower price were deciding factors. Also, knowing this forum and helpful members are here to assist with any issues is reassuring.

I think I'm going to love the blue w/camel color. Around here, Silver and AM TL's are quite common. Anyway, thanks for all your help. I'll post when I take delivery.

Congratulations and good luck. I agree, the majority on this forum seem to gravitate to WDP, NBP, SSM, or AM.

I decided upon the exact same color combo and specs and put down a deposit at the end of September! I've been waiting since then to get mine. The dealer says it was built on 11/13 but then was damaged at the port so now I'm at the back of the line again with a new build date of 12/21-25 with delivery expected the first week of '05. The anticipation is killing me.

Although I did go to the Central Florida Auto Show this weekend and got to see our beloved TL in both ABP/Camel and RRP/Camel (my second choice). IMHO, we made a great decision with our color choice.

Where in Wisconsin are ya and which dealership are you going to.

 

Brookfield (near Milwaukee). I'm not crazy about Acura of Brookfield, but that's who I'm negotiating with. They don't wart to sell for the price I'm looking for, so we're still talking numbers... I also asked them to investigate custom ordering Blue with ebony, and they flat-out said No. Grrr...

 

I'm in MPLS and went down to Chicago to getmy car. I think there are 9 dealers there, so they are much more accomodating to both special requests and pricing. Chicago isn't too far from you, perhaps its worth a few internet quotes.

Good choice on the color, though I chose the Quartz interior!!

Great color choice BTW! Blue was my second choice with the Redondo Red Pearl being my first. Lucky for us, they had one on the showroom floor that was exactly what we wanted!
