The ticket is void, it's not your car, the cop didn't pay attention to the registration...can we say dismissed?!

Should add I ended up only getting a warning. Still, this could be good in the future

I debadged my '05 NBP, and it looked clean.
However, I don't believe my '07 TL-S CBP would look good debadged, so I'll leave as is.
Hint:
If you think you might trade for a newer model, be sure to keep your badges, and in good shape. It will affect your trade-in value, especially if it might be Acura certified.

Blackura removed everything but the Type-S badge on his Type-S, it doesn't look bad at all, it's the equivalent of people with the S4 badge on their Audis.

My 07 TL-S is debadged. Only the Acura symbol is on the trunk. I bought this for my plates:

i debadged my "3.2TL" and left the "A, and ACURA" Emblem on there...
in my opinion it looks cleaner without having the "ACURA" OR "TL" on there. gives the car more of a shine after you wash, wax, and polish. =)

We don't want other people to go out and buy more TL so we remove the brand

I think it looks great debadged on certain colors one being white. The black is great with the badges on. I think it all depends on the color of the car. It also helps to mod the car out a little before taking them off.

When I picked up my TL from the dealership that was one of the first mods I did. The other day this dude in a dropped Accord was driving next to me in traffic and kept looking at the car. He had that look on his face like he was tring to figure out what kind of Acura it was

You take your old badges and tape them to the wall of your garage. They will never go back on the car. If you don't like the look with them off the car, order new ones.

At +$50 a set a $3 roll of 3M foam tape is the way to go unless you have a sh*tload of disposable money.

I think I'm going to debadge my NBP.. mainly for the fact that when cleaning/waxing the car it's always a PIA around the badges to get clean and gex wax residue out between the letters. I think i'll be debadging mine this weekend. With some floss and goo gone.. next I think i'll paint the "ACURA" on the front bumper the gray color of the front lip.

Wow; on the AHM-Ownerlink page the "TL" badge costs $20.04, and the "Acura" badge goes for $23.69!

I am still debating whether to debadge or not....frigggg. My car is all stock for now. I think I will debadge when/if I actually modify it but if I decide to keep it stock I might as well leave em on.....we'll see though cuz summer is coming!

evnash... Have you considered going with a "blackout" theme? You could debadge the "Acura" and "TL" and then just have your rear emblem paint matched NBP. I personally have done this and I know a few others who have as well. It looks totally siick on nbp

I just found this pic of my debadge... It's before I had the emblem painted though. I think with the "A" painted nbp it really sets it off

Thanks! I like it so much better with my emblem painted nbp too. Just compliments my blackout theme I guess. I think if you upgraded to the Type-S tails it would really set your rear end off. Just my opinion though...still looks great
