Unhappy Dear (07) TL-S members... Need you help plz

Im having some problems with the leather on my seats. The leather on the passanger seat and the seat behind the passanger is all lose and with wrinkles and it looks TERRIBLE. It's been like that since the day i bought the car and I took it to the dealership to get it fixed. As usual, they told me it was a design problem and told me that there was nothing they could do to help me.
Weird thing is, all the interior pics of the 07 TL-S that i saw till now in this forum dont have this problem. It would really help a lot if you guys could post some pictures of the leather on your own seats to show the dealership that its not a design problem. Maybe if i could show this thread to the my service advisor he would try harder to help me with my problem. My car only has 10k miles on it and everyone that gets in my car asks: "what's wrong with your seats?"
I need a shot of your passanger seat and a shot of the seat behind the passanger. Can anyone please help me out PLEASE?

The dealer should be able to tighten those covers up ......... from what I understand the covers are secured with metal clips from under the seat

Take it to a different dealer and try that route first. People are always under the misconeption they have to go to the dealer they purchased the car from to get service work done, and that is not the case. Keep trying different dealers in your area and I can guarantee you one of them will replace your seats.

I had mine done.

hehehe, sorry i had to steal your pic. I wish my seat would look as good as yours. If i could only get a couple more pictures i would go to the dealer and show them this thread. Would you mind taking a pic of your rear seats? the seat behind the passanger?

Oh I see where the confusion is, well I dont own a TYPE S, its just my OLD SN from when I had a 2nd GEN TL TYPE S and I didnt change my SN when I upgraded to the 3rd Gen Non-TYPE S.

But in my 3rd Gen, Non-TYPE S, I had the same problem and it was fixed at the dealer.

If there is another dealer nearby, maybe take up the seat problem with them? HOpefully theylll be of more help....I was assured by my dealer in IL that if anything goes wrong, (i.e dashboard fading, leather getting loose) that they and any other dealer will take care of it as long as its in the warranty period. Good luck dude! PS I see you are in CA, so if Acura of Pleaston is in your area, avoid them. They have a very bad rep here (as you may already know).

I've sat in a few 07 TLs and TL-S models and none have had the problem that's so obvious in your pictures. It looks like the seat bolsters aren't large enough to fill out the cover.

If it's not fixed, you'll likely wear the leather our prematurely.

I don't get it. This is OBVIOUSLY something they should fix!

The bolster on the driver's seat on the left-hand side looks pretty bad too. Is that a wrinkle?!

I thought it was obvious too, that they would fix it under warranty no questions asked. It just seems that everytime i go to the dealer their excuse not to work in my car is "There is nothing we can do about it, it is a design problem" or "All TL's are like that". Its so frustrating...

hey my base 2007 black on black has that same problem....but its located near the shoulder area....My car only has 900 miles but that wrinkle was there when it had 0 miles. I thought it was normal but there was NO wrinkles on the driver seat.

Is the wrinkles normal? Its shown on this interior on the acura showroom website:

oh and here are some more examples as to some models have wrinkles and some do not. I don't know whether I would be laughed at by the dealer if I took it to them to look into my wrinkles at 900 miles....

I have a NBP and black/silver combo. I have a ton of wrinkles on the seat part closest to the door (driver's side mainly) I also notice it on the passenger side. However, I dont have any of the wrinkles on the side bolsters.

lookin at these pics makes me appreciate how well thought out the interior was done by Acura.

Even though the interior design is 3 years old, it is still amazing how the 3G TL's interior is still up there relative to other cars. Even vs. the new 2007 G35....

Those are some mighty fine pics!!!! Hot ass Interior...Except I have an 06 TL without the 3 spoke wheel and sport seats.
