Dealer Service...

There are so many stories that I could tell about this subject, that it would take all day.

Ya wanna keep your TL running like new?
Bring it to the dealer as few times as possible and only for essential things.
Your car has a vibration that lasts a few minutes and then stops?
Live with it.
There is a rattle when you go over a bump?
Leave it alone!

I read a note from somebody that they thought that their headlights needed an adjustment. Took it to the dealer and now the guy is constantly getting flashed because he is blinding everybody.

Sure, if something is broken, a check engine light appears, you have no choice.
For minor, small annoyances, if you can live with it, you and your car will be better off!

Just a suggestion. . .

Ooh, are we bitter or what?

I guess it would depend on the dealership. Based on the service performed on all my Acura’s (as little as it was) I am more than satisfied with my dealer’s service level and competency.

Very happy with dealer service...

I've used David McDavid in Plano, TX for years. They have ALWAYS treated me right and fixed things the first time around. It all depends on the dealership. Some dealerships only want to sell cars and have poor service departments. Other are the complete package...
