Dealer Really Pushing Auto Armor
When the Acura finance guy sat us down he offered Auto Armor treatment for $300. This is the treatment that supposedly makes the outside of your car look like it has just been waxed for about five years, and makes your leather interior stain resistant, all of which they back up with a warranty. When my wife and I bought our Lexus rx330 a couple of months ago we purchased thier version of this and I thought that it changed the feel and look of the leather slightly. I told this to the gentleman at Acura and he told me that it could make the leather a little shiney but over time should wear off a bit. Anyone have a opinion about this treatment one way or another.

They pushed it hardcore on me also.....but they wanted 900!
Forget about it.......big time rip off. When I was sitting there it reminded me of the Seinfeld when puddy was trying to hose Jerry on a car deal with all the extra stuff.

I didnt get it pushed on me so bad, but one way out of it if you cant get them off of your back is to just tell them that you were not anticipating spending the extra $$ on this type of item, but if the offer is open for a while that you'd like to consider it for a week or two out.
You'll find out that everything that the dealer sales can be purchased "ANYTIME" and not just at closeing.
All of those dealer items are crap, and just an extra source of revenue for them.
