FYI in SOCAL---

I had a silver/ebony 5AT Nav on order with Acura of Pasadena. I got the car from another dealer yesterday (some poor fool couldn't qualify for his credit so the salesman called me). Anyway, the Pasadena car is now available, and is supposed to arrive in the next 1-2 weeks. "Definitely" before the end of the year.

My salesman was Richard Laguna. Tell him Mark sent you.

Thanks for the notice, Mark (Animate). I'm sure someone will appreciate that!

Yeah Kelli was quite helpful in my case too, but one should be more careful when dealing with the rest of the dealership, including Weir Canyon Honda which deals with the financing part though you buy the car from Kelli. I would suggest looking at the car thoroughly with a lens to make sure they don't switch tires or replace other parts before driving it home. Overall even though I bought the car I couldn't avoid feeling they weren't the most honest bunch..

I wonder whether the so called "certification process" is genuine. It appears to me that the dealer has the freedom to declare a reasonable vehicle as certified even if some tests were not done properly. Yeah I am not really happy with the service I got at Weir Canyon Acura.

Try talking to David Cullifer at Bakersfield Acura. He was a pleasure to deal with and was able to instantly find me a silver/ebony 5AT Navi at $1,000 below MSRP including wheel locks, splash guards, trunk tray and paint wax sealant package all included with the deal.
