Sorry if this was already a post but couldn't find it. i'm looking for a reputable shop around Los Angeles to have my brakes replaced and the rotors done. If anyone knows please let me know.. thank you....
If possible a certified acura shop..
I think I've seen one near glendale but not sure if they are trustable..
Let me know and thank you in advance

Is this price for AT or MT? I was quoted around $300 for MT and I thought that was pretty high.

why would you want an acura shop to do it? $$$$
If not able yourself- just find a private shop in the yellow pages- someone that does imports/sports cars
For awesome brakes- contact MrHeelToe from this site
He is near LA see off topic sponsored sales for post

$280 at the dealer is going to turn the rotors and install suckmo stock pads in front only- bummmmer

The owner, Stan, used to work with his uncle John at S&S on La Cienega (my regular shop since it's on the west side) for years before opening his own shop. I'd have Honcura work on my Hondas if I was in the Valley. Honcura is also open Saturday mornings.
If you have a 6MT, $280 is good even for fronts only; it's not high for pads on all 4 brakes and turning rotors on the 5AT.

$280 sounds about right to install new OEM pads and grind the rotors. The brake job could end up being more if the rotors cannot be resurfaced.
Raybestos now makes semi-metallic "PG PLUS" brake pads for the 6MT. The run about $50 off RockAuto, so a brake job for the 6MT should now run no more than one for a 5AT at an independent shop.
$150-$200 is a reasonable price for premium ceramic pads and a rotor grind at an independent shop.

my dealer quoted the same thing for front brakes, took my car back to an import service center I used for my VW and they charged $ 180 for oem parts and rotor cut saved 35%
by not using the dealer, same work performed.
