De-badged

I removed the "Acura", "TL", & "Type S" off the trunk lid along with all the "ULEV", & "alarm warning" stickers from the windows. I think it cleans it up nicely

I thought the same thing. The Type S badge was the last one I took off just to see how it would look by itself. To me it didn't look right. To far to the right. Now if you could move it to where the TL is, it would look better IMO.

Nah, that's stock on TL-S. Some kind of plastic, with that pattern sandwiched or molded in.

All 3G's have that

The debadge looks good, you know what you should do though? Put the TL-S badge on the bottom right of the trunk just for th status

i've never liked the debadged looks.

reminds of a car thats been painted and the body shop lost the badges.

but to each his own

if you like i love it for you

That's what i did in essence w/ my car this past Wednesday evening. I lost the Ac and the TL badges on the top right and left and just kept the A-Spec badge on the bottom right. It looks 10 times better..

It was way to busy before. It had badges in 3 of the 4 corners there..

If you guys want i can take pics tonight to give you an idea as to what it would look like. Just say the word.

I thought about moving the Type S badge somewhere else on the lid, but I think it looks cleaner with nothing on the back. I also think that if some doesn't know it's a Type S because the badge is gone, then they don't know this car. I like when someone recognizes what it is by the other features that make it a Type S other than reading it on the back.

Haha yeah i gotcha, but the only thing that is different compared to base TLs thru the "common" eye are the tail lights and rims haha

haha yeah exhaust tips too but most "commoners" aren't going to notice the smoked side markers. Nor are the going to notice the different rear and front bumpers, chrome grill, chrome trim, headlights, honeycomb grills etc etc
