I've been running some DDM 5K (headlights) and 3K (fogs) for the last 1.5 years with no problems.

They used to be good but their quality has gone down hill, I've had one of their kits in my other car since 2007 or so with zero issues, then had a newer kit that failed in less than 2 years. Better quality than most of the eBay specials though but nowhere near OEM or Morimoto quality. The only aftermarket HID parts I'd consider that aren't oem are Morimoto and even with them I had issues with the TL, one of the bulbs didn't like our ballasts and flickered, put the stock Osrams back in and it worked fine.

rice... Buy these instead

http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...roducts_id=148

or these are better
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...ducts_id=10591

You drive a TL. Pay to play. No more items that you would put on a civic.

I donated my DDM kit (ballasts too) from my old car to my friend to put into his Mazda 3. He's had no problems for the last couple of months they've been in, and they're super bright too.

i use DDM HID bulbs for my fog lights, but i would never consider sticking them in my headlights.

theretrofitsource, as linked above, is the way to go.

DDM used to be decent, but the latest kit I bought from them was lame. After a few months the 3000k kit lost its deep color and just turned into a brighter halogen color. I gave it away...I use Nokya yellows now in my fogs.

It probably color shifted. If I'm not mistaken, its a characteristic of most HID bulbs.

I had their 3000K bulbs in my last truck for a little over 2 years before I sold it, they stayed bright yellow and never shifted. I bought 4 kits from them and the only issue I ever had was one ballast failing, and the warranty replacements I got from them are now in my TL on the fogs. As far as cheap HIDs go they're probably the best but more and more people are having issues. At least they did warranty mine with no hassle.

I've installed DDM HID kit on 3 cars, 1 motorcycle and my boat (almost 3 years). Never had any problems except with one bulb, it was a weird color, and they replaced it right away after I took a picture of the wires cut. The color is good and consistent, I have had the 5K and 6K.
I'm going to get a set for the fogs, probably 5K

Like others have said, it's probably best to go with the reputable bulbs from the OE manufacturers like Phillips and Sylvania/Osram.
