Hey!

I am new to this site but I have heard a lot of good things about it. I am a somewhat new TL owner (since June) and saw a mod that turned the center headlights into daytime running lights. Does anyone know how to do this? Please send info on how it can be done!!

i'm not sure, but on the headlight stalk for lights, the middle setting is the DRL, while the 3rd and last setting is actually the headlights

i don't think its automatic or anything

All 3G TLs have DRLs. What exactly are you looking to do??

 

Not a true statement.

All Canadian 3G TLs may possibly have DRL, but not all US models do.

 

the 04-06 don't have DRL... US models...
Just headlight & fog light mounted next to each other...

07-08 have the fogs lower grill and DRL where the old fogs were

The middle setting is for parking lights.

On my 08 it goes like this

Headlights On
AUTO
Parking lights
OFF

For 04-06 I'm sure it's like this

Headlights On
Parking Lights
OFF

 

My bad. Guess it's been too long since I haven owned my 04.

 

I should've mentioned, mine is an 06. I don't have the option to only have center lights on. They are an option to turn on while headlights are already on.

Just so we're using the same language, when you say center headlights, on your 06, those are your fog lights. Headlight stalk 06: Off/parking lights/headlights Turning the ring on the headlight stalk when the headlights are on will turn the fog lights on with the headlights.
