I put Vinylex ( made by Lexol ) all over the front dash...side of the doors and front and rear bumpers. I know exactly the part your talking about right above the steering column. I notice a glare during the day that resembles a ( C ) right in the middle of your front window but I got use to it and doesnt bother me anymore.

Yea I Noticed my dash seems like it had faded a bit. It has been really sunny where I live and
I havent applied any protectant on the dash yet cause I am afraid of applying something I am not supposed to. I was thinking of going to Acura and picking up some of there Interior Cleaning Stuff. Does anyone think that would be a good thing? or should i buy something else?

Thanks in advance for any feedback

IMHO, 303 is absolutely the best product. I put this on about 8mos ago and it immediately restored its color, very evenly without a glossy shine. It repels dust and lasts a long time. I do use sparingly on the top of the plastic pieces which transition off of the more rubbery dashboard material.

Acura now sells and promotes a vinyl/leather cleaner that can be purchased at the dealer. SO far it has been very good on all the surfaces of my 05' TL dash. I don't use the product on the alum. surface or clear plastic parts. I bought the cleaner from my local dealer for about $6...........

6 bucks for the vinyl/leather cleaner? That is cheap! What's the fl. oz. of the bottle?

Are you talking about Lexol? I saw my dealer was selling that.

DO NOT use Lexol on the dash - use 303 or Vynilex (made by the same company that makes Lexol).

I, too, had some trepidation in using 303 on the dash. But I did it anyway. I did the whole dash (all the black stuff including the textured area above the instruments). It turned out great; just a hint of shineyness and brought back the black just fine. I think I will apply a second coat in a few days.

I also use 303. Very happy with the results. No glare, no gloss.

I bought it at a local West Marine.

Any "good" boating store should have it.

I use 303 on the whole dash. If you use is sparingly, and wipe it off, you can get a nice matte finish that blends with both parts of the dashboard. It's great stuff...works well and lasts a long time.

I found it at a local REI sport/camping store. It was with the water proofing stuff. 6.95 small bottle (I think it was 6oz) they had a larger bottle for 12.95

How do you apply it?? Do you put it on the rag first or spray the dash and then wipe it in?

I sprayed the 303 onto a rag, then wiped. I didn't want any overspray on the windshield or other areas.

Lordco sells 303 in the GVRD. I use it on my tire sidewalls and dash.
