Has anyone bought / seen the dark chrome OEM grille for 07-08 Type-S ? Is it much darker than the stock chrome color?

I think that ebay auction was mis-labelled. That is NOT a different grill compared to the stock Type S grill. Why they label it as "dark" chrome is beyond me. That is normal chrome finish and is the exact same grill that is installed factory on all 07/08 Type S cars. It will fit the 07/08 base cars but I was told it will not fit the older 04-06 TL's.

I have the same car and i did not know they had a different one. But after reading this i guess it is miss labeled. Good thing I did not buy it, it would be cool if it was though.

The grill and the strip on the licence plate holder on the TL-S is a slightly smoked looking chrome. It isn't a shiny chrome. Compare it to the emblem on a regular TL, that's chrome.
