I spent 3 hours detailing my car yesterday because the weather channel said zero percent chance rain till Friday. I'm at work and look outside and it's raining!!!!!!!! Damn.

if you got a good coat of wax on it then you should be somewhat ok, even though it does suck. i wish i could get a good detailing done, its too damn cold for me.

 

Happened to me numerous times.

Couple days ago I was at the coin wash and just washed my car.
I was washing my mats and I noticed a bird that chills on top of the coin wash bay crapped all over my car.

It was GROSS and not to mention I had to feed another $3 to the coin wash to wash it off.

Now that was a piss off.

 

I feel ya. Washed my car and got it looking all nice over the weekend only to have it rain today. Life.

 

i am envious of all of you.

I dont even have a car to wash.

 

That is nothing. I spent 16 hours really detailing my car to have my friends dirt-full truck go on my car. Than it rained at night. :/

 

I hate that too so I sometimes just drive a 16 year old beater on rain days. If I get caught in the rain I look at it as an opportunity to caress the TL with some Zaino Z-6; love to see her shine!

would you rather have the forecast of 80% chance of precip....and NOTHING. a sprinkle for 5 min over night after waiting all day for the "snow".

on another note....how about this one: i help a friend go through a 12 hour detail (deswirl and everything), a week later, some hating jackass keys his trunk deck (literal 18 inch scratch across the top of his trunk). he owns an STi, but he had no tint on his car and a baby seat in the back. really???!!! WTF?!

 

This is one of the reasons I bought a beater car to drive to work, and in the rain/snow. The Acura only leaves the garage when there is no rain in sight. Last spring when I first got it, I would wash it and the very next day it would rain. That happened to me a shitload of times.
