I'm supposed to be picking up my car next thursday AM/ebony/6MT/Navi with A-Spec and all. Thats the good news.

The bad news is my trade in, a 1999 Chevy Z71 ext. cab, in which the 4 wheel drive transfer case just crapped out less than a week before it was time to say goodbye. The damn bitch is stuck in 4 wheel hi (push button...yea I know). Mabye I'm jumping the gun on the diagnosis but talk about timing...I mean if I didn't get the A-Spec I wouldn't be having this problem right now! It definitely will add to the price tag!

In the end I have a new car in the shop, and used truck in the shop, and I'm driving a dodge neon, WITH NO TINT! AAAAAAGGGHHH!!!!!

hell with it, dont bother fixing it. the truck is still driveable right? dont say anything when it is time to bring it in to the dealer for the trade in.

 

I totally agree. Try to trade it in to the dealer. If by chance they notice, go trade it in at Carmax (they will buy your used car without you buying another one). Most dealers don't check out much on your 6 year old trade in. They will likely wholesale the car rather than put it on their lot anyway.

I definitely thought about the carmax option since I may be able to get a better value. I guess I'll have them look at it and tell me whats wrong, I told the service guy I was buying a chevy...lol mabye he will cut me some slack. Then again he is a service guy. The only thing that sucks it trying to make turns in 4 wheel drive...talk about wanting some LSD! or rain! (no snow in TX) I'm not going to even think about getting into my parking garage! It will take me 15 minutes to park!

lol On a positive note, the TL will be that much sweeter when its here though!
