Damage by Hard Bump ?

There was a piece of firewood-like log in the road.
like one of these:

Car at 10 oclock of me made quick move to avoid it but sent it spin-flying my way.
My left front wheel took it head on and result was a hard jolty thump.
I was at round 60 mph so I suppose it's like hitting a neighborhood road bumper at that speed.

There was no visible damage nor anything I can tell driving it.

What should I look for to make sure nothing is messed up or should I take it to
a suspension shop, have a pro inspect it under the hoist ?

I think the biggest damage that can happen with something like that is your alignment, and then your suspension. I would take it into the dealer and have them check the alignment and suspension -- and since alignment is warrantied for 12 mos from purchase, you should be okay on that front.

Wait a day or two - you may find that your sidewalls are bubbled (make sure to check inside as well). If that happened there's a good chance you bent the rim.

I did that on a pothole and when I got the bubbled tire replaced I was told about the rim.

WERD. Check your wheel (rim) it might have a small dent.

I agree take it in to get it checked. Further, I think they can confirm your wheel is still round and without dents. Check your tire pressure daily for the next couple days. That sucks to run over something like that

1. Check your rims for dents.
2. Check tires for bubbles.
3. See if you notice any vibrations while driving (that were not present before).
4. Check if the car pulls to one side while braking, or coasting (not accelerating...as that could be torque steer).

If none of the above symptoms are present, I would think you are ok. I agree with the earlier poster, that your alignment might be off, you should be able to notice # 4. Good luck with it.
