Currently I'm in high school taking college classes so when I graduate I graduate with my High school degree and my Associates degree so I'm either doing a masters in Computer Science and minor finance or doctor but mostly aiming towards computer science since that's my passion but my parents want me to be a doctor

That's awesome though man, keep up the good work ethic, be smart about how you spend on your car. Don't start bad habits early with your money or it'll be an extremely slippery slope..

 

Unless my mother cheated I am certain lol but i'll see because I am either going full ride University of Texas or waiting for fordham, UT austin, TAMU, Duke and brown but at the moment computer science

 

Honestly felt like I was gonna go crazy on the TL because of all the mods available for the car but keeping calm for now unless I see deals pop up

 

with your scholarly choices, you'll be able to afford cool shit later in life! I promise you that!
I spent so much on my TL that I regret and should have used the money for better things!!

I don't know about afford because I am rejecting schools because of the financial burden but I really want to take a nice, good looking car to college. Really want to make the TL look as nice as possible, I want to enjoy college too you know

 

Don't... I'm so glad I was still rockin' a beater when I went to college.. College kids couldn't care less and will door ding your car into oblivion in their rush to take their midterms.

all in all, I've spent about $7000-$9000 on maintenance and Mods

 

it was my dads!
and he lent it to me for a month!

but i havent seen him or the car.

 

What mods you put on it and man its clean

 

so, I bought the TL when I was 23! I'm 30 now!
I bought a six speed TL at 31k miles! at 35k miles, I had to replace the clutch! that was like a few grand.
since I have a six MT TL, it's quicker than all the automatic TL's, so I ran with it and wanted more power!!
bought a Jpipe for my first mod!
I then wanted more power and bought PCD's!
I then did suspension upgrades like Koni yellows and aspec springs..
and the progress RSB.
fast forward a couple years later, I needed tires and a buddy was selling his wheels. bought them, only to realize that one of my shocks were bad and made the tire rub against fender.
then bought coilovers.
and pretty much how she sits today.
I wrecked twice, friend blew the motor once, and she still is the love of my life

 

DAmn man thats crazy dont think I would waste a few grand on stuff tbh

 

lol thats why we're telling you to not mod the TL and continue getting an education in computer science or become a doctor...
you will be able to mod cooler better cars when you have an awesome paying job

 

I was gonna go with cheaper mods nothing too expensive or outrageous just to make it look cool i still have 8 months so i have time

those fog lights in the lower grille are not factory... as the 2004 TL had foglights in the headlight housing

 

the previous owner installed them right before I bought it also placed some interior LED lights and some in the trunk

Don't worry you're not missing out on much not the place to be tbh. During the day its full of traffic, weather is crazy, drivers suck only good time is during the night honestly but still not missing out on much

We have our fair share of good pho though. I had some damn good pho in TX when I visited though.. The broth was extra rich and the quality of the beef was amazing

 

I live by 610 and 59 traffic gets crazy here everything around

 

I leave my house by 6am! No traffic going to work!
I leave my office at 3PM! No traffic going home!!

unless accidents.. or superbowl

 

Can't relate at all always traffic even when I leave home at 7:15 and my school is literally 10 minutes away
