I have been thinking about changing my plates also, just starting to think about options.
I had 4.7 DOHC on my Tundra, I put a black dot about 1/4" diameter made out of electrical tape between the 4 and 7, 4.7 DOHC. Then I changed my 04 Tundra plate to T MAXX. As in Traxxas T-MAXX Nitro R/C truck. On my 1983 WS6 Firebird I had G FORCE 2. I had a Saturn that had JD'S SL2.

I added the hyphen myself. Our DMV allows us to choose customized plates online and it shows how it will look, I wasn't feeling it with a smash or even mashed together. The plate was actually my wifes idea. I also have an "AcuraZine" third brake light decal (Used with permission of course) which really accents the rear!

I'm not suggesting this applies to an Acura but I love this story.
25 to 30 years ago I knew someone with an Audi and he had all sorts of problems. He was so dissatisfied with the dealer and with Audi that he got a car tag that read "A LEMON."
He would take it to the dealer for service with this tag . They were pissed.
