I wish you would post a how to lol

What does a set of headlights like this normally run?

Also do you give a discount if I send you my headlights?

Sorry if these questions have been answered already, I'm still a newb to these forums

You are supposed to send him your headlights and he will modify it to your liking.

He does not sell pre-modified headlights. You do not get a discount for sending him your headlights because that is what you are supposed to do in the first place.

"Almost" every headlight and tail light you see here belong to other car owners that sent JnC their lights to get modified.

If you're lucky he might have a extra set laying around that he can modify to your liking that way you won't have to send him your headlights.

If you send your lights in for work then you dont have to put down the refundable deposit. Plus you dont have to pay the trade in charge of $25.

90% of my work is through the trade in program. Only 10% of the customers send their lights in to get the work done, 9/10 of these customers want to get a get a previous project fixed to their liking.

Trade in is the most popular option and yes I do have about 3 dozen sets available for trade

You are right on the premodified part, lights are all stock till me and the customer decide on how they want the lights done.

As far as why the lights all look brand new, all sets get refinished, polished and clear coated before being sent off to the customer. Its a courtesy service I give to make sure all sets look decent when they go out as TL headlights can range from 6 to 10 years old the front lens condition is usually not that great hence a refinish helps enhance looks and performance.

I'm thinking about ordering 80mm Morimoto XB LED halos, how would the wiring work when installing them and would shaving down parts of the headlights be required?

80mm is a tight fit, you'd have to shave the bezels to squeeze them in, wiring depends on how you want to power them, some people tap into the parking light and some install a dedicated switch.

Sorry if it's a dumb question but I'm a new guy here. How do I subscribe to this thread? I would love to have you do headlights for me just don't have the cash at the moment, so I want to save this for when I do. My headlights are so beat.

Half of the LED ring does not light up

JNC, I've been trying to reach you. I have the same issue as 2 years ago - this time my other headlight. Half of the ring lights up, half doesn't. I don't know for how long - I must look like an idiot driving with a busted led ring. Can you please fix it ? I'll send it in, pay what you need. I've got sooo much money in this by now... I see with my other one you added much more support for it - maybe to prevent rattling and to ensure it does break again ? I would hate to disconnect the LED lights. They used to look so cool. Thank you again!

I'm pretty sure JNC has rode off into the sunset. Electrocuted removing a headlight?

I hope he's okay.
I think at the end of the day, the amount of work that goes into it vs profit vs follow up headaches and customers might not be worth it.
Or he's somewhere in Mexico sipping on a pina colada.
I do my own headlights and refuse to touch anyone else's...
I probably will never do anything but keep the UV coating intact to any headlight in the future.

I'm pretty sure that Ron A went into another one of JnC's threads and closed it since he is no longer a vendor.

Long hiatus

Hello to all of my fellow Acurazine members, its been many moons since I have posted/updated this thread. First off, I apologize to those that I have let down when it comes to responding back. I have not been active on Acurazine since the beginning of the year due to my old man kicking the bucket back in February. This unfortunate event has led me to take over the family business which in turn has led me to be less active on the forum.

I am still a vendor, I am still taking new orders (may be not as abundantly as I did in the past).

Once again, my sincerest apologies for the lack of communication and hiatus. If anyone needs to get in touch with me then email is the best way to do so rook786(at)aol(dot)com.
