Yea I had to buy a set outright since my driver one was damaged and I need them as quick as possible. He hooked it up though. Got them for a decent price. They should be here by the end of the week he said so I am going to have my bumper ordered and they are going to start the paint on that tomorrow hopefully. Filling the license plate holes on that also. So this is looking like it was a good thing in the end haha.

Not sure what you mean by finally though? lol. I hit someone on tues and ordered them friday night.

Has anyone ever chromed/chrome painted both the silver line down the diffuser and the projector bezel? Preferably on 04-06 lights with the amber diffuser. Lol

Maybe I missed it but how long is the turn around if I send in my headlights to be worked on? Obviously if I don't have my headlights I can't drive so I would need an estimate on typically how long does it take for the whole process?

He offers a trade in program. You send him $350 as a deposit (this money will be refunded back to you after you send him his lights back) and he will send you a pair of OEM headlights that you can use while your headlights are being worked on. Once your headlights are finished he will ship your lights back to you and you can send him his OEM head lights back in the same condition they were sent to you and he will refund you $350 back.

I just sent him my deposit and my loaner headlights should be in sometime this week JnC says. I can't wait to send him my headlights to get worked on by a true professional! Looking forward to seeing the results. This man does nothing but great work and I can't wait to get my lights back!

 

I was under the impression that he had sets laying around to be worked on, once those are "modded" he sent you those and you sent him back your stock headlights. I know this is the procedure that I went through with Bruce (Acktl05).

McCollins is right, trade in work by the customer putting the deposit down to have the project started.
- Once the deposit is made, I start work on one of the sets from my inventory.
- Upon completion I ask for payment to cover all the pertinent charges.
- Once the second payment is made the lights get shipped out.
- Customer receives them, installs them and ships their old ones back for a complete refund of their initial deposit.

Brandon, sent over headlights to get them redone, the old sealant had been contaminated and was completely removed before a fresh layer of Koito OEM sealant was used to reseal the headlights. The chrome strips were also replaced with fresh ones as the old ones worn off chrome coating due to handling.

How do you like that koito butyl? I haven't been able to find Nissan butyl for a while and I was thinking of giving the koito a try.

 

^Apparently it's good stuff. Doesn't get as messy, sets up really nice.

Or so I've heard.

 

Koito sealant is what our TL headlights have in them from factory, its a bitch to work with but results are awesome.

On a difficulty of use scale of 1~10,

Nissan stuff is at 1
Koito 8 lol

 

I'm going to order a "brick" of it from Lightwerkz in a few weeks. Any tips on rolling it out.
Any tips on how to completely get rid of the old stuff?

I would be much easier of this stuff just came in a caulk tube lol.

Haven't gotten around to posting up photos of my JnC headlights. Very happy with them. JnC Have you ever done a retrofit to an 05-06 rsx headlight?

 

Just got back from Mass. Went to JNC to pick up my girls TL headlights(had him clean them up) and also picked up my friends 06 Lexus IS250 headlights that he blacked out. He did an amazing job on them. He really knows his stuff and is dam good at it. Here is a couple pics of them. I will post some more pics when he puts them back on the car. Thanks again bro!!!

 

How much for the tail light with Carbon Fiber. I have two new in a box I would like to send once I know price and time line.
