Jav sent his headlights in for work, one of them was badly damaged due to a fender bender and both headlights had glue residue on them left behind from the protective film that was on at some point. I resurfaced both lenses using polishes only rather than sand paper etc.

04-05 painted V2
Paint is Duplicolor metal cast
left the amber defuser in place
The turn signal reflector is painted partially black to give the turn signal a smoked out look.

So you have

1) Flat Black
2) Glossy Black
3) Black Pearl

3 Base Coats of glossy black followed by 2 of Pearl plus 2 of Clear.The color is sort of like Acura's NBP but with more pearl.

Blacked out price for black pearl would be $175 rather than $150 which it normally is for flat black or glossy black.

Here are a few pictures of what it would look like, note that only the middle bezel is painted using the Black pearl paint process.

^^ LEDs burning out after a few weeks. Some people havent had any problems but there have been enough complaints for me to contemplate and eventually decide not to offer the LED install .


I am looking for alternatives and may eventually offer it again if I find something more durable.

Member AnthraciteAspec sent his headlights in for some work day before yesterday, front lenses were in bad condition. I wet sanded them with very fine sand paper and then polished them using different polishes.

The reflector is partially blacked out. Here is pictorial to show how it looks all chrome and how it looks when partially blacked out.

You just need to find that clear diffuser, that is the hardest part. The rest of it JNC does all day everyday.

hey guys, have an acrua mdx 2008, was wanting to change my projectors, but not sure what i do, this is the first time im doing this, already baked them, and opened them, but dont know what to replace, the whole projector, or just the lenses, because the mdx08 has very crappy ones i think, the HIDs seem yellow rather than crystal white, but i just need some info as to what i need, and what do i do with it, if anyone can help me because im doing a custom job when it comes down to LEDs, but for the projects clarity to make the HIDs brighter and much better. please let me know guys

There are few things you can do, you can swap the foggy projector lenses with clear ones from S2000 projectors and swap the osram stock bulbs with philips 85122+ bulbs.

Or

You can swap the projector with an S2000 projectors for the ultimate low beam along with the bulbs.

You can do it either way, most people wire it to the parking lights I believe.

I'm new on AZ and my sole purpose of joining was to get in contact with you regarding clearing out my headlights. I would PM you but I can't figure this shit out, lol. I have an 04 TL and would be interested in your Trade-in Program I've read about if it is still an option. I think what you're doing is awesome and your work looks great, but before I commit I wanted to ask you a few questions preferably over the phone. Whenever you get a chance could you PM me?
